Your mobile page speed can have a negative impact on your site traffic



Even if you pay attention to keeping your content up to date and reviewing your backlink profile, you may see an increase in your viewing numbers, while your organic traffic is likely to decline. Because if your mobile site has a low speed, it can adversely affect your site traffic.

If you recall, Google, which announced the Speed Update last year, said the new update would only affect sites that offer users the slowest experience. Given that indexations are based on mobile prioritization, it is possible to say that Google ranks your site’s ranking by mobile experience.

As part of this update, which identifies slow-loading sites, google’s very slow site criterion remains unclear to many people. At this point, let’s take a look at the tools and methods that can help you.

Like Chrome User Experience Report and Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights is one of the tools you can use to improve your site’s speed. However, PageSpeed Insights, unlike other vehicles, stands out for its simple handling and scarce points. So if you have a good score on PageSpeed Insights, you can easily get a good result between other online testing.

On the other hand, google’s lack of a certain criteria for slowness can be confusing for almost everyone. Because even if exceptional, there are sites that have low page speed insights scores falling to a single digit, but their traffic is not damaged. However, if your PageSpeed Insights score is below forty or is on single-digit scores, you’ll need to start working to speed up your site.

First, test at least five opponents’ websites on PageSpeed. Note the scores from the test and discover new opponents you may not have noticed yet. In the meantime, we recommend that you take the tests at different times of the day. Because the workload on the servers is less at night, higher scores can be obtained.

The next step is to save the sites’ two-year ascension chart by adding them to traffic forecasting tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Spyfu, which you test on PageSpeed.

However, these codes used are usually not removed after the function has been lost. This causes the tracking codes to accumulate and position them as an extra load during page loading.

Using these simple measures, you can improve your mobile page speed. However, if you continue to see a steady drop in traffic, we recommend that you re-examine your site.
