The 10 most popular meditation apps generated $195 million in revenue in 2019



We have previously informed you of many investment news about meditation applications, which have become very popular in 2019. Meditation applications, not only receiving investments, also generate significant revenues in app stores.

According to information shared by application analysis firm Sensor Tower,the 10 most popular meditation applications from application stores generated $195 million in revenue in 2019.

By comparison, meditation practices generated $8 millionin 2015, $19 millionin 2016, $55 million in 2017 and $128 million in 2018. In short, meditation practices, which have been on their way for about 5 years, are becoming more and more popular every day.



When we look at meditation practices, we see that there are two applications that have generated revenue since 2015. The first and largest of these applications is the Calm app. According to shared information, the Calm app generated $92 million in revenue in 2019.

The Headspace app, the second-highest-earning meditation app and invested $36.7 million in 2017, generated $56 million in revenue in 2019. When we look at both the revenue and downloads, let’s also share the Calm and Headspace apps followed by the Breethe app.

Let us also remind you that meditation practices are still popular not only in abroad but also in our country. Meditopia, a domestic venture, received an investment of 2.3m euros last August. Meditopia, which has 5 million members in more than 60 countries, will not be surprised to be on this list in the future.
