Tesla Cybertruck’s so-called unbreakable windows smashed

Teslaunveiled a new pickup car last night called Cybertruck. Tesla’s new vehicle is an armored vehicle. The exterior of the vehicle is made of ultra-hard stainless steel and its windows are described as reinforced. However, the test conducted during the introduction raised questions about this endurance.

On stage, Elon Musk asked Tesla’s chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen,to throw a solid metal, baseball, and show him how strong armoured glass is. Holzhausen threw a large ball into the driver’s side window, and the glass shattered even though it was not fully broken. After this result, which no one expected to face, they also tried the unbreakability test for the rear window, but the result was the same. Musk said that after that, the glass should not be broken, that this test had failed. Although no one expected most of the standard windows to withstand such a test, even Elon Musk was stunned by the result.

In spite of all this, the technical specifications of the vehicle are interesting. Because the Tesla Cybertruck can go up to 100 km/h in approximately 2.9 seconds. The vehicle has a choice of 400 kilometers, 480 kilometers and 800 kilometers of range. The starting price of the vehicle is set at $39,999. Another $10,000, the vehicle’s range goes up to 480 kilometers. You’ll have to pay an extra $7,000 for autonomous driving.

The vehicle is expected to go on sale in late 2021.
