A software update this year shows that Siri, Apple’s voice assistant, can also be used in third-party messaging apps by default, Bloomberg reported. This feature will be expanded to search third-party applications in the future.
For example, if you want Siri to be able to send or call someone using appssuch as WhatsApp or Skype, you should be able to you also need to say the name of the apps. Otherwise, Siri receives Apple’s iMessage service or phone app by default and sends messages directly via SMS. However, in the future, Siri will learn which service you prefer for each person and what you choose by default for communication, and will act accordingly.
However, it should also be noted that individual app developers need to update their applications in order for this to be actively available for each application.
Apple’s innovations in Siri are not limited to messaging or calling. We recently talked about the arrival of Spotify support for Siri with iOS 13. Apple Music, which apple has undertaken many improvements with its emphasis on service subscriptions, has gained Siri integration with the iOS 13 update, and apple music users can directly use verbal instructions to they were able to play. The same innovation is now available to IPhone users who are now members of Spotify. However, to access this feature, you must have the latest beta version of Spotify.
We hope that all features will soon be activated for all users globally.
