Pearl Dictionary and Uludag Dictionary sold



50 percent of Uludag dictionary and Inci Dictionary brands were acquired by Emin Adanur, Chairman of Ergunkent Construction, which operates in Bursa. The 28-year-old young entrepreneur will use these two dictionary sites and affiliated social content platforms, which are among the most intensively followed platforms of the new generation in Turkey, to gain added value in the construction sector.

Uludag Dictionary’s great journey in the digital world began in 2005 as a student project. After 4 years, Inci Dictionary began to make its name on the Turkish Internet by forming its own audience in a very short time. These two dictionary platforms, which then reached the masses with Incicaps and Haberself, reached a wide audience on social media.

In the meantime, in 2013, promoviral brand started to provide social media agency services to corporate companies. In 2016, a software office serving American companies was established in Dallas, Texas.



Management staff and team will continue to work after the sale of half the company’s shares. Efforts will be made to institutionalize the company consisting of dictionaries and social platforms. In the coming period, human resources investment in application development will be made. In addition, efforts will be accelerated to develop games for the following group on social media profiles along with dictionaries.

Uludag Dictionary, which was founded in 2005, is the second largest dictionary site in Turkey today with 850,000 daily visitors and 700,000 members. Uludag Dictionary contains 22 million articles (entries) on 3 million topics.

Inci Dictionary, which brings a lot to Turkish internet culture, is one of the pioneers of Caps, which is based on the principle of writing humorous words appropriate to the content by drawing a red strip under the photo. content is shared extensively on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. Incicaps has 1.3 million followers on Instagram, 1.9 million on Facebook and 2.7 million on Twitter.
