Limiting processor performance for iPhone XS and XR models comes

Apple will release the iOS 13.1 update tomorrow, which will limit processor performance for iPhone XS and XR models. Apple appeared to limit the processor performance of iPhone models in 2017 to avoid battery-induced performance problems and shutdowns.

In December 2017, Apple apologized for slowing down older iPhones and reduced battery replacement, limiting the processor performance of their smartphones without telling their users. This feature was intended to be used on iPhone models with old batteries.

The main problem here is that Apple did this without telling its users. The scandal occurred when users with older iPhone models accelerated their phones after they exchanged batteries. Apple announced that it would be more transparent after the revelation, leaving the limitation feature at the initiative of its users with an iOS update.

This feature automatically activates when the iPhone detects an unexpected shutdown due to battery problems. Limit processor performance iPhone XS and XR models introduced last year as of this week. Users will be able to limit the processor performance of the iPhone XS and XR models if they wish.

Apple introduced the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max in recent weeks, and announced that its new phones have a more advanced battery and power management system than older models. There is no information on whether the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro models will be able to limit processor performance. Finally, let’s add that the iOS 13.1 update will be shared tomorrow.
