Artificial intelligence-assisted group chat app: Capture

About 3 years ago, Alexey Moiseenkov, Oleg Poyaganov, Ilya Frolov and Andrey Usoltsev developed a photo editing app called Prisma He came into our lives. Prisma was quickly successful, downloading more than 70 million times and becoming one of the most widely used applications in 70 countries.

Alexey Moiseenkov and Aram Hardy, co-founders of Prisma Labs, the roofing company of prisma, came up with a new app. The duo, who left Prisma Labs to set up Capture Technologies, launched their first application, Capture.

Capture Technologies, an artificial intelligence-oriented initiative, has also received a total of $1 million in seed investments from General Catalyst, Social Capital and Mail.Ru Group. The Capture app, currently only available on the iOS platform, will also be available for the Android platform in the coming months.

Capture, which aims to change people’s social media usage thanks to artificial intelligence support, automatically recognizes the photos uploaded to the platform and creates various chat channels. This allows users to go to a chat channel about their interests and chat in real time.

For example, if you upload a photo of a football stadium on the platform, you will find suggestions about football or football teams. Let’s add that the app works integrated with Spotify and Apple Music. Thanks to these integrations, songs, albums or artists can be included in the chat channels.

Capture, which will allow you to communicate with people you are particularly interested in, aims to bring together people who are interested in similar topics through photos. Add that no private messages can be sent within the Capture platform.

The app, which randomly matches people with its Selfie Chat mode as well as chat channels, aims to enable users to chat with news, popular concerts, new albums and other popular topics. Let’s also mention that users can participate in chat channels about the category they want from the discovery tab. You can also download the Capture app for free here.
